Needs a human read: this draft describes what the app actually does, but a person (ideally a lawyer) has not reviewed it yet. Have it reviewed before taking payments.
Terms of service
Last updated 22 October 2026
The service
versuscraft researches, drafts, checks and publishes posts about developer products. You review and approve every post before it is published, and you publish under your own byline.
Free samples
While paid plans are closed, you can create posts for free. Free use may be limited or paused at any time (for example to control costs), and we may remove posts that break these terms.
Your content
You own your briefs and the posts you publish. You give us permission to store, process and display them to run the service - including sending them to the AI providers listed in the privacy policy and serving your published pages. You are responsible for what you publish, including comparisons with other companies' products.
Accuracy
Posts are written with AI. Claims are sourced and badged and code samples are run where possible, but sources change and checks can miss things. Review each post before publishing. We make no promise that search engines or AI assistants will find, cite or recommend your posts.
Plans, billing and refunds
When paid plans open there is one subscription, billed monthly through Stripe. The early-bird price ($7/month) is kept for as long as that subscription stays active; after the first 10 subscribers the price is $15/month. Cancel any time from the billing page - you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds: if you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full. After that, payments for periods that have started aren't refunded, except where the law says otherwise or the service was unavailable for a significant part of the period. To ask for a refund, contact us.
Acceptable use
No misleading or defamatory comparisons, no impersonating people or companies, no content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights, no attempts to break or overload the service, and no using the code runner for anything other than checking your post's samples. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings; your published pages stop working straight away. We may close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why where we can.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-up users by email. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
